To grow local awareness on the Fiji International and the Fijian Made- Buy Fijian Campaign, the Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism today launched the Fijian Made Inner Sanctum Competition yesterday.
Minister Koya said the competition is simple and anyone can enter by posting a picture of themselves holding a product showing any of the emblems under the Fijian Made-Buy Fijian Campaign onto the Fijian Made Facebook page and use the hashtags #FijianMade, #FijiIntl or #FijiNow with their photograph.
“We have better prizes up for grabs this year with 1 night’s accommodation at the Shangri-La Fijian resort, exclusive VIP passes to the Fiji International and a personalized tour of the event. The competition will also be promoted through the Fiji International ‘Give Golf a Go’ Roadshow which has begun already,” Minister Koya said.
He added that the roadshow provides a lot of Fijians with opportunities to try their hand at the game of golf and also enter the competition by taking a selfie photograph with a Fijian Made product.
At the event the Minister also announced the new brand ambassadors for the Fiji International.
“My other big announcement today is the Fiji International brand ambassadors part of the Fiji International which includes our Fiji Sevens team captain, Osea Kolinisau, Masivesi Dakuwaqa and Emosi Mulevoro.”
Minister Koya said that individuals can enter the Fijian Made Inner Sanctum Competition and spend a day with these rugby heroes.
The Fiji International event will be held from the 6th to 9th of October at the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa.
