Yesterday, the Mataqali of Nagaga from Vatutu village in Nadi were all smiles after the purchase of a 10-wheeler truck facilitated through a loan by the Fiji Development Bank (FDB) under the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) scheme.
The truck which will be used for desilting works at the two Nawaka dams and for other business purposes was acquired through a loan of $81,000 from FDB while the Mataqali made a contribution of $49,000.
