A total of 79 evacuees are currently taking shelter at the Jokhan Primary School in Navua which consists of fourteen families.
This numbers are expected to increase from today as the northern parts of the group continue to experience heavy rain from yesterday.

The Fiji Roads Authority will be inspecting the Toga Crossing and parts of the washed away crossings and this will be repaired once the weather permits.
The NDMO is urging parents to monitor the whereabouts of their children after Police reported the death of a fifteen year old boy who was swept away by strong currents at Naselai, Tailevu. Members of the public are advised to take heed of the weather advisories and not to involve themselves in activities that will put their lives at risk.
Meanwhile a total of thirty (30) roads remain closed in the Central and Western Divisions.
Motorists are advised to reconsider travel plans due to high risk of landslide following continuous heavy rain and to contact the FRA on 5720 for road status updates.
River gauges in the Central, Western and Northern Division are recording receding water levels.
