With the new school term to begin next week Monday, the Minister for Education has reminded school heads on the need to ensure that schools are cleaned and prepared to welcome students.
While on a recent tour inspecting Northern Schools, the Minister commended schools in the region for their commitment to keeping schools clean.
“I expect all schools to be clean while welcoming students in the new school term,” Minister Bole said.
“I am happy to see the development initiatives and progress of work for Khemendra Central School and St Bedes College,” said Ambassador Bole.
“We look forward to provide education to 760 students this year,” said Narendra Pratap, the Head Teacher Khemendra Central School.
“Teachers must report to their respective schools before 8:00am on Monday 20th January or have their salaries deducted,” cautioned Ambassador Bole.
The Minister also encouraged students beginning the new school term to always study hard and reminded them on Government’s commitment in ensuring that every child in the country has access to quality education.
