The Minister for Education, Heritage and Arts, Premila Kumar visited Dogotuki District School in the interior of Macuata today (01/08/22).
The Minister commended the teachers' effort in moulding young Fijians so they will one day realize their dreams.
She reiterated the Fijian Government’s vision in ensuring that children had access to education, regardless of their geographical location.
Minister Kumar said this was reflected in the 2022-2023 Fijian Budget where the Ministry received the largest budget allocation from the Government.
The school has a roll of 174 students, 65 of whom are boarders from Year One to Year Eight.
