Students and teachers of Saint John Anglican Primary School were reminded to take ownership of the new developments and renovations in their school as term three begins for the school calendar.
Minister for Education Filipe Bole made these comment today at the handing over ceremony of facilities that were recently renovated from the ANZ Pacific operations staff.
“I do hope that students, staff and management will assist in keeping the present condition of the school by proper cleaning and handling of the newly renovated buildings, Minister said.
Minister Bole said that the "renovation is timely boost for the students and teachers as they begin with term three of classes in a new and clean environment for learning".
He added that the officials from the ministry will be visiting the school in a fortnight’s time to carry out a survey on other renovations that the school might need.
Meanwhile, ANZ Pacific Operations managing director Mr Neil Christensen said that this development demonstrates the ANZ's commitment of giving back to the community.
Mr Christensen commended the efforts of the neighbouring villages for their support during the week long activities held at the school.
