The Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, Hon. Lynda Tabuya paid a courtesy visit to the Fiji Women's Crisis Center Coordinator Shamima Ali this afternoon (16/01/2022).
Hon. Tabuya briefed Ms. Ali on the Ministry's commitment towards furthering its partnership with the FWCC towards the elimination of violence against women and children.
This was also an opportune time for both parties to discuss opportunities in areas of mutual interest that will pave a way forward for the empowerment of our women.
Hon. Tabuya expressed her deep appreciation for the tireless work carried out by the FWCC, and looks forward to future partnerships in advancing the interests and protection of our women and children in Fiji.
