With the Fiji Secondary School Athletics Finals into its final preparation stage, the Minister for Education, Filipe Bole today congratulated athletes for making it to the Fiji Athletic Final and wishes them well.
“This Fiji Secondary School Athletic Final is the biggest sporting event not only in Fiji but in the Region. Congratulations to every athlete that has been selected from their athletic zones to participate in the Finals this Friday and Saturday. Whilst you enjoy your participation, be a responsible athlete; be humble in victory and gracious in defeat. I wish every athlete well,” Minister Bole said.
School Principals are also reminded to allocate teachers to supervise student spectators for the two day meet. Students are to be briefed from school on their behavior and attire at the game.
