MINISTERS MEET DIVISIONAL STAFF

 The Hon. Minister for Youth and Sports Laisenia Tuitubou and Hon. Assistant Minister Iliesa Delana this week met with staff of their Northern office.

While addressing his staff, Minister Tuitubou urged his staff to serve the youth in the country with commitment and diligence.

“I am pleased with the work that the Northern office is doing but there needs to be some improvements,” Mr Tuitubou said.

“There are changes that need to be in place in order for our services to the youth to be improved and I hope that we work closely together to achieve this.”

The Minister also urged his staff to utilise the office of the Divisional Commissioner Northern.

“We should make use of the Divisional Commissioner Northern’s office as they have the necessary resources to assist us better serve the youth,” Mr Tuitubou added.

The Minister also highlighted the need for divisional youth offices to work closely together.

“We should work together as a ministry and there is a need for divisions to closely work with each other to ensure uniformity across all divisions for better implementation of programmes,” he said.

Mr Tuitubou expressed his gratitude to staff for the work they had carried out within the division so far, particularly in the implementation of their capital projects in Naleba and Naqere Training Centres respectively.

“I am happy with the work you have done and I hope to work very closely with you for the benefit of the youths.”
