MINISTRY EXTENDS THE CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS - REFUND OF DEPOSITS PAID BY PUBLIC TO PEOPLE’S COMMUNITY NETWORK (PCN) FOR LAGILAGI HOUSING UNITS

Fijians now have until Friday 20th May 2022 to apply for refunds of deposits paid to People's Community Network (PCN) for LagiLagi housing units.
 
The Fijian Government had allocated $2.27 million in the Revised Budget 2021-2022 to refund money paid by Fijian Households to People’s Community Network for LagiLagi Housing Units.
 
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a Fijian Citizen;
- Must be 18 years or older;
- Must be able to produce documents to support payments to the PCN for a Lagilagi Housing Unit; and
- Must not have received any housing unit from the PCN as at the date of this application;
 
The following documents MUST be submitted with the completed application form:
- Certified Copy of Birth Certificate;
- Copy of Valid Photo Identification;
- Tax Payer Identification Number (TIN) Letter or Joint FNPF/FRCS Card;
- Copy of a recent Bank Statement (for verification of bank account number)
- Payment Documents to the PCN
- Any written agreement executed by the applicant and the PCN
 
Application forms can be downloaded from the Ministry website (www.housing.gov.fj), available at the Ministry Head Office at 33 Gorrie Street, Suva and any Legal Aid Commission Offices across Fiji.
