School managements are not supposed to interfere with schools, according to the Education Ministry.
The Ministry wishes to remind all school managements that the administration of school activities are best left to the school principals and head teachers.
While the Ministry appreciates the enthusiasm of school managements in seeing that schools perform to expectation, they are not allowed by law to interrupt or disturb the running of the school.
In many past instances the Ministry has had to intervene on disputes between teachers and the management. The Ministry does not want to encourage that. However if any management feels that an issue needs to addressed, the assistance of District Education Offices must be sought.
