The National Disaster Management Office wishes to advise the general public on the following updates:
As of today (8/10/10) a landslide has occurred at Wainikovu, Namosi Road. Whole road from Wainikovu to Nausori and Nausori to Wainikovu had been blocked.
The Department of Roads Taunovo are working on clearing the landslide. Works are expected to be completed tomorrow, therefore the road is closed for public until further notice.
(A) Nabukaluka Road is also closed from today. Department of Roads are working on the landslide. Roads should be opened by tomorrow.
(B) Message is for the general public that uses this two roads.
