Ministry welcomes students and teachers

07/09/2009

The Education Ministry extends a warm welcome to all students, teachers, parents and school committees, as we begin the last academic term for 2009. It is hoped that you have all enjoyed your two weeks break and are now ready for the final 13 weeks of classroom work for this year.

Today, staff meetings are conducted in schools while enrolment begins for student boarders. The first day of each term is always important as teachers meet to revise timetables for examination classes, set targets, map out revision plans, delegate duties and brainstorm on ways to improve and enhance school performance.

All students are reminded that time is an irreplaceable asset and one cannot afford to be wasting valuable time.

Form 4 students only have 38 school days left before exams begin on November 4.

FSFE begins on November 8, which means, Form 7 students have 41 school days left.

Form 6 have 48 days left before FSLC, which is scheduled for November 17- November 30.

The Ministry trusts that valuable principles of teamwork, that were inculcated in sports during the last term, would also be applied in all facets of students’ preparations for the examinations.
