NEW LOOK FOR MPWMST

The Ministry of Public Works, Meteorological Services, and Transport launched its new Ministry logo, revamped website, and 2025–2026 Costed Operational Plan (COP) at the Centenary Church Epworth Hall on Thursday (31.07.25).

The new website, which now features real-time updates and enhanced accessibility, underscores the ministry’s move toward digital transformation and improved transparency. Members of the public can access the website on: www.mims.gov.fj

The ministry's new logo represents the MPWMST's integrated responsibilities in infrastructure development, transport, meteorology, and climate resilience.
The Minister for Public Works, Meteorological Services, and Transport, Hon. Ro Filipe Tuisawau acknowledged the hardworking ministry staff who have worked tirelessly to ensure that projects are completed for Fiji citizens.

“𝘋𝘦𝘴𝑝𝘪𝑡𝘦 𝘵ℎ𝘦 𝘮𝑎𝑛𝑦 𝑜𝑏𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑐𝑙𝑒𝘴 𝑤𝑒’𝘷𝑒 𝑒𝘯𝑐𝘰𝑢𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑒𝘥, 𝘺𝑜𝑢 𝘩𝑎𝘷𝑒 𝑐𝘰𝘯𝑡𝑖𝘯𝑢𝑒𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝘥𝑒𝘭𝑖𝘷𝑒𝘳 𝘤𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑙 𝑝𝘳𝑜𝘫𝑒𝑐𝑡𝘴 𝘧𝑜𝘳 𝘰𝑢𝘳 𝘱𝑒𝘰𝑝𝘭𝘦,” 𝑠𝘢𝑖𝘥 𝘔𝑖𝘯𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑇𝘶𝑖𝑠𝑎𝘸𝑎𝘶.

The launch also included the Costed Operational Plan 2025–2026, a key planning and financial tool that aligns with the National Development Plan and ensures sustainable service delivery, accountability, and governance across the Ministry.

Minister Tuisawau extended his gratitude to the Ministry's leadership, staff, CSA teams, and all stakeholders for their hard work over the 2023–2024 financial year. He called on all personnel to reflect, improve, and continue serving with purpose and humility.

The event was attended by senior officials from the Ministry and its Commercial Statutory Authorities (CSA), including representatives from Fthe FijiRoads Authority, Land Transport Authority, Water Authority of Fiji, and Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji.
