Two expatriate judges today were sworn-in at Government House by His Excellency the President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.
The two were appointed Acting Chief Registrar and Acting Chief Magistrate respectively.

The Chief Registrar’s positions was recently held by Ms Ana Rokomokoti.
Mrs Irani Wakishta-Arachichi is now Acting Chief Registrar while Mr Pamila Ratanayake will be Acting Chief Magistrate.
Also attending the swearing-in ceremony was Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum and Solicitor-General Chritopher Pryde.
