The Office of the President celebrated International Women’s Day and paid homage to all the Women of Fiji.
The President, His Excellency Ratu Wiliame Maivalili Katonivere with the Staff of the Office of the President commemorated International Women’s Day focusing on the diversity of the women who had served and continue to selflessly serve our nation.
The contributions of Fijian Women on the local, regional and international platforms have greatly evolved over the 5 decades that Fiji has been independent. This year’s International Women’s Day encourages us all to #BreakTheBias, celebrate our women and their achievements, raise awareness and denounce biased behaviour and attitudes by actively advocating for the empowerment of women.
