The Partners for Others Ministry donated various essential food items, beddings, clothes and household item to the National Disaster Management Office in Suva today. On hand to receive the donation was the Ministry of Provincial Development permanent secretary Mr Inia Seruiratu who expressed government’s appreciation and commended the non-government organisation for its timely assistance. The organisation’s director Pastor Waisea Vuniwa said they were pleased to be part of government’s rehabilitation efforts. “We work under the Seventh Day Adventists Church and we are really silent workers and we have been carrying out charitable work in Fiji for the last 10 years,” Vuniwa said. Pastor Vuniwa also added that the organisation in their efforts to assist everyone, includes working with all sectors of the community.
