Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has conveyed a congratulatory message to the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, Honourable Shri Narendra Modi, for the occasion of the 76th Independence Day of India, commemorated on Monday 15th August 2022.
In a congratulatory message to his counterpart, PM Bainimarama said Fiji appreciates the close partnership with India which has enabled the two countries to enjoy warm and friendly relations based on our shared values and aspirations.
PM Bainimarama said Fiji is grateful for the many forms of assistance and the goodwill that India has shown towards Fiji’s development journey which has greatly impacted the people of Fiji.
The Head of the Fijian Government extended Fiji’s best wishes for the continued success, peace, and prosperity of the people of the Republic of India.
