PM HELPS TEACHERS, PROVIDES TWO 4 – WHEEL VEHICLES

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama came to the aid of teachers who use the Moto Bridge in Ba to reach their respective schools.

Following instructions from the head of government, school teachers in Moto will no longer have to walk through muddy roads to reach their schools.

This after the Prime Minister observed eight teachers crossing a muddy path across the Moto bridge carrying books when they were seen by the Prime Minister. He also noted that teachers were hiring two four wheel drives, paid from their pocket to transport them to school.

The head of government instructed western officials to facilitate the hiring of vehicles to ensure that teachers were not burdened in reaching their schools.
