The teams that arrived this morning included the Men's and Women's Basketball teams, Men's and Women's 7s Rugby teams, Swimming and Weightlifting teams, and the Men's and Women's Volleyball teams. The arrival of these talented athletes marks another milestone in Fiji's sporting journey and strengthens the bond between the nation and its athletes.
Team Fiji has emerged as a dominant force in the ongoing sporting event, proudly securing an impressive tally of 10 gold, 16 silver, and 16 bronze medals.
The return of athletes whose competitions concluded in Week 1 and their triumphant performances have not only brought glory to our nation but have also inspired future generations of athletes, whilst the Week 2 sports athletes are gearing up for their events in Honiara.
