Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama apologised to the province of Namosi on behalf of the Government if government services have been slow in reaching them.
“We (Government) seek your forgiveness if government services have been slow in reaching you,” the Prime Minister said in a conversation with people of Namosi, who visited the Queen Elizabeth Barracks on Wednesday.
“We also would like to seek your patience if government services have not been to your expectations.”
He added Government had always been people focused and would continue to put people first.
“We have always placed our focus on the people because we are being paid to do our job,” Commodore Bainimarama said.
“Whether we are teachers, doctors, nurses or works and energy workers we need to always perform to our best.”
He said government’s intensions were directed at improving the living standards of ordinary citizens.
