His Excellency the President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau, personally congratulated Cicia High School for achieving a 100 percent pass rate in last year's external examinations.
The Head of State is touring communities and schools in both Gau and the Lau Group and visited Cicia to meet with the students at the school.
"I would like to personally congratulate you on your achievement in achieving 100 per cent pass rate in the FSFE," His Excellency told the students.
"Continue to strive for excellence as it will assist you to be successful in life. I also wish to thank the teachers who have made sacrifices and are committed towards your education."
The School in Mabula, Cicia Island was only one of two schools to have achieved the feat in the Fiji Seventh Form Examinations in 2014.
HE Ratu Epeli will speak to students of Ratu Finau High School on Lakeba Island tomorrow before visiting Moala en route to Suva.
