The President of the Republic of Fiji, His Excellency Ratu Williame Katonivere, along with the First Lady, Madam Vilomena Katonivere, attended the closing reception ceremony hosted by the Governor General, Dame Cindy Kiro, at the New Zealand embassy in Niue.
The closing ceremony marked the successful celebrations of the 50th anniversary of Niue’s constitution.
Invited Pacific leaders and members of the Diplomatic Corps present at the reception also got a chance to meet with His Excellency Ratu William Katonivere.
President Katonivere is scheduled to return to Fiji on Wednesday, 23rd October 2024.
