His Excellency, the President, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere, opened a new road that links Nanuku Resort to the Queens Highway in Taunovo today (01/07/22).
While opening the road, President Katonivere acknowledged the management of Nanuku Resort for revitalising tourism along the coast of Deuba.
“Thank you for bringing back tourism along this stretch of the Coral Coast. I remember during my young days that Pacific Harbour was a go-to place, and this will be revived now that you have brought back tourism activity to the coast.”
The Head of State added that the new link road is beneficial to tourism, and its effect will be felt by Fijians living nearby through employment and the provision of an enabling environment for locals to establish small businesses.
