The President His Excellency Ratu Epeli Nailatikau today paid a surprise visit to patients admitted at the different hospitals in the western division.
It has become a norm for the Head of State, to travel to all hospitals, special homes and correctional facilities to personally wish each individual his personal best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.
Patients were happy to see Ratu Epeli take out time from his busy schedule to visit and wish all patients a speedy recovery.
He visited hospitals in Korovou, Nayavu, Rakiraki, Tavua, Ba and Lautoka. He is expected to visit Nadi, Sigatoka, Navua and Lami tomorrow on his way back to Suva.
He also visited inmates at the Ba correctional facility.
