Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama this morning left for the western division and will be visiting evacuation centres and continue assessing damages sustained by the recent floods.
The head of government this morning visited Nayawa village in the province of Nadroga. He also spoke to those living in the Naiyawa Community Hall evacuation centre who were recently relocated there from the school’s evacuation centre and reminded them on government's obligation to safeguard the welfare of all Fijians.
Prime Minister Bainimarama has urged authorities to ensure that basic facilities and resources are made available to those living in these centres.
