PRIME MINISTER REMINDS STUDENTS ON VALUE OF EDUCATION

27/01/2014

Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama this week urged students of Veisaru Sanatan Primary School in the interior of Ba to take advantage of the free education provided by Government.

“Study hard, make sure you make your parents and us proud with your dedication and hard work,” he told the students.

“I know that many of you are very hard working and Government also wants to help in any little way we can to make your dreams come true.”

While in the Western Division, the Prime Minister assessed the construction works taking place for the new Black Rock Army Camp in Nadi.

Government has allocated $1.7 million for the relocation of the 4FIR base camp from Namaka to Black Rock in Votualevu Nadi.

Black Rock Camp is earmarked as a centre for peacekeeping training for Fijian soldiers.

“This will assist greatly in ensuring that our personnel have everything they need in Black Rock and we need to speed up work,” he told senior officers at Black Rock.
