The High Commissioner designate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan presented her credentials at Government House today.
Pakistan’s representative in Fiji, Her Excellency Fauzia Nasreen presented her credentials to President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.
HE Nasreen holds a Masters of Arts Degree in English Literature.
She worked at the Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1973, and was Section Officer, Director, Director General, Directing Staff at the National Defence College and also as an Additional Secretary in Pakistan.
HE Nasreen has strong diplomatic background and has previously served in Pakistan, Tehran, Kuala Lumpur, Manila and Rome.
HE Nasreen also served as Pakistan’s Ambassador to Nepal from 1992-2002 and Poland from 2002- 2006.
Before coming to Fiji, HE Nasreen served as Director General at the Foreign Services Academy in Pakistan.
