Permanent Secretary Prime Ministers Office and Auditor General appointed

The Chairman for the Public Service Commission, Mr Josefa Serulagilagi has announced the appointments of Mr Pio Tikoduadua as the Permanent Secretary for the Prime Minister’s Office and Tevita Bolavanua as the Auditor - General.
 
In announcing the appointments, Mr Serulagilagi said both applicants have the necessary qualifications and proven experiences to successfully perform the roles expected of them.  

He said that the Public Service Commission is pleased that the Central Agencies of Government are headed by such qualified personnel.
 
Mr Tikoduadua’s new contract as Permanent Secretary for another three years was approved by the Commission following the concurrence of the Prime Minister.
 
The appointment of Mr Tevita Bolavanua as Auditor-General for a contract term of three years was made by His Excellency the President in consultation with the Office of the Prime Minister.
