Three police officers, who are members of the Flying Fijians team to the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand, were reminded by the Deputy Commissioner of Police Sikeli Ligairi to do their best.
The three, Setefano Samoca , Napolioni Nalaga and Nemia Kenatale will be part of the 30-men squad that will leave for New Zealand on Monday, August 29.
Speaking to the officers at a farewell function at the Police Booth at Albert Park today, Ligairi said officers of all ranks of the Fiji Police Force were behind the players in their bid for glory during the RWC.
He urged them to play to the best of their abilities and to be good ambassadors for the country and the Fiji Police Force when in New Zealand.
Nadroga and Flying Fijians prop, Setefano Somoca in addressing the senior officers said they were thankful for the support shown by fellow officers.
Somoca also assured them and the people of Fiji that they would perform to the best of their ability.
The 2011 RWC will kick-off in New Zealand on September 9 with the final for the Webb Ellis trophy on October 23 at Eden Park.
