Police can now confirm that they have recaptured four of the seven remand inmates that escaped from the Suva Court House holding cell, yesterday afternoon.
Recaptured during the last 12 hours are Jone Di, Eparama Mani, Sefanaia Turagadamudamu and Kilioni Vatutaqiri.
Still at large are Filipe Delana, Sunia Roraqio and Lomani Tamani.
Police would like to remind the public that assisting or harbouring escapees is unlawful.
At 1245hrs, the seven remand inmates escaped from the holding cell at the Suva Court House.
All seven fled in a black LPG Taxi, registration LT5118.
Police are appealing to members of public who have any information on the whereabouts of these six to contact their nearest Police Station or Police Community Post.
