The Minister for Education Mr Filipe Bole wishes to inform students, parents and principals that the 2009 Provisional Examination Results for FJCE, FSLCE & FSFCE will be confirmed by the following dates: FSFE: 26th February; FJCE: 5th March and FSLCE: 12th March.
It is important to confirm these results so that the Examination Office can now carry out a detailed analysis of the results and then compile the annual reports for each of these exams.
This means once the results are confirmed, there will be no more changes made especially in the case of zero marks due to missing Internal Assessment Marks or Incorrect Registration details.
Principals, candidates and parents concerned are advised to contact the Education Assessment Unit or their nearest Education Office within the above timelines in case they still have cases to resolve.
Furthermore, the confirmation of results allows the Examination Section to print out Certificates for the candidates who appeared for these examinations.
Past experiences have shown that many people continued to turn up at the Examination office after the results were confirmed demanding redress.
This will be no longer entertained. However, staff of the examination office will look into queries posed to them after the above dates case by case.
