Reddy advises indigenous business
Reddy advises indigenous business
24/06/2010
Indigenous Fijians entrepreneurs should develop passion, discipline, and hard work in their business says the Governor of the Reserve Bank Mr Sada Reddy.
“ In order for indigenous business to prosper they need to be disciplined in managing money and managing business risks.
“ In these modern days you need to be well educated and be smarter in order to compete with others,” he said at the symposium held for Fiji Indigenous Business
Mr Reddy said the shortfalls with indigenous business is the failure to budget and manage business risks.
“ You have to be a survivor because there is always room for growth when you are successful for you and for the nation,”Mr Reddy said.
Mr Reddy said the Indigenous Business Council members must be passionate about their business vision, it requires working day and night without any government help.
“ Sheer hardwork at personal and family levels should be inculcated at a very young age.
