The Ministry of Education has commended Newline Chemicals for donating 50 boxes of cleaning agents to our 17 Special and Inclusive Education Schools (SIE) which will help protect children with special needs from COVID-19.
Minister for Education, Hon Rosy Akbar thanked the company for their support, and for displaying the Fijian spirit during these trying times.
"COVID-19 particularly affects vulnerable groups such as children, especially children with special needs, and we need to ensure that our vulnerable are not forgotten and left behind," said Minister Akbar.
"Never before has showing unity and solidarity been more important.
“COVID-19 has devastated the entire planet and we must work together for recovery efforts."
The Minister encouraged other Fijian companies to think about our fellow Fijians and lead by example.
