The Ministry of Education has clarified that news currently circulating regarding new exam dates is fake.
The Ministry has not set any new exam dates and will advise on this matter later.
"It is disappointing that during these trying times when people are traumatized and confused, some see fit to use this opportunity to cause more confusion," said Permanent Secretary for Education, Anjeela Jokhan.
"We need to be responsible and show compassion and help each other, not spread misinformation that leads to more confusion."
The PS urged Fijians to be vigilant on what information they believe and to concentrate on staying safe.
