The Permanent Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office Pio Tikoduadua has tendered his resignation effective this week.
Mr Tikoduadua during his term as Permanent Secretary was instrumental in overseeing projects implemented under the Prime Minister’s Office including the Office of the Strategic Framework for Change and the Poverty Monitoring Unit. A key area that has seen success during his tenure is the implementation of various projects designed to assist ordinary Fijians including those Fijians in Rabi and Rotuma.
During his term, Mr Tikoduadua served as Chair on the Fiji Roads Authority Board; a position he held to oversee the implementation of road reforms across the country.
The staff at the Prime Minister’s Office hosted Mr Tikoduadua at a farewell reception this week at the old parliament complex.
The Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister's Office Mr Naipote Katonitabua will act as Permanent Secretary while the Public Service Commission permanent secretary Mr Parmesh Chand will act as Chair of the Fiji Roads Authority board.
