Schools to report on damages

16/03/2010

In order for the Ministry of Education to prepare for the beginning of schools after the passing of Tropical Cyclone Tomas, schools are requested to report any damage incurred to their schools to the Ministry Headquarters.

The Ministry will need to make quick decisions regarding schools and how to plan for their start which can only be possible after a careful analysis of school damages. School Heads are requested to report to their District Education Offices as soon as they are cleared from the effects of the cyclone.

The Ministry will want schools to start as soon as possible but work on a realistic plan of action.

Minister for Education, National Heritage, Culture & Arts, Youth & Sports, Labour, Industrial Relations and Employment, Mr Filipe Bole.
