The Minister of Education, Hon. Filipe Bole is stating that the Spellwell Quiz Master has to apply for authority to teach with the Fiji Teachers Registration Board first because that is the law.
“The Spellwell quiz master needs to apply for Limited Authority to Teach first with the Fiji Teachers Registration Board to make his programme on TV legal,” Mr Bole said.
“The Fiji Teachers Registration Promulgation requires everyone who teaches students to be registered. However, for those who wish to impart knowledge on a limited time, they are required by law to apply for Limited Authority to teach,” Mr Bole added.
“The Quiz master can seek advice over this from the Secretariat of the Fiji Teachers Registration Board at Senikau House,” Mr Bole concluded.
