State house now exclusively available

Fiji’s famous State Mansion, Borron House is now exclusively available on a selective basis for short term stays and hosting of private functions, says Permanent Secretary for the Public Service Mr Parmesh Chand.

Mr Chand said The Commission had decided to hire out the property for functions and even stay ins but strictly to those that meet the criteria set by Government.

He emphasized that Borron House will continue to be preserved as a VIP State Guest House.

It’s only when it would not be used, that it will be made available for private functions and special occasions.

“Reservations for the use of Borron House needs to be made two weeks in advance and already our Office Accommodation unit is receiving enquiries,” Mr Chand said.

He added for more information on Borron House, Brochures are readilty available at the Office Accommodation Unit and at  the Government Information and Referral Centre in down town Suva.
