The Education Ministry has completed registration for its 10,000 teachers. It is expected that all teachers who walk into a classroom by the beginning of Term 3 will be registered under the Teachers Registration Board.
However, the Ministry is aware of the difficulties faced by 234 teachers, who are yet to be registered in the Eastern Division. It is for this reason that a team of Education Officers will be touring islands in the Eastern Division to ensure all teachers are registered before Term 3 begins next week.
All teachers who are yet to register will not be allowed in the classroom at the beginning of Term 3.
