Education, Youth and Sports Minister Mr Filipe Bole called on principals and teachers of secondary schools to impress upon students the importance of being good sportsman and sportswoman.
“We are now in the 21st Century and fighting on the sports field is out of date. We have come this far and education is supposed to help us do things better. I am calling on the principals and teachers to keep reminding students on what self discipline is about,” Mr Bole said.
“Talk about anger management, positive mental attitude and values like self control and humility. Be creative when imparting these life skills and values to your athletes and students.”
