With school to begin next week, teachers are advised to start making arrangements for their early return.
“We would like to have all our teachers back at school in time on January 24. Therefore teachers are advised to start making arrangements for their return,” the Minister of Education, Mr Filipe Bole said.
“Over the years, teachers arrived late at school after the holidays. Should teachers know they will not be in time because of personal commitments, they are advised to report first to their district’s education office.
“The ministry will not tolerate late arrivals at schools, nor unauthorised extended holidays.”
