The 2010 academic calendar comes to a close today as teachers take their much-needed break.
The year has been filled with a lot of challenges for teachers and for them to successfully complete their work in the classroom till the last day is highly commended.
The Education Minister, Mr Filipe Bole extends his sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to all 9,826 teachers for their immense contribution to education in Fiji.
The Minister hopes that all teachers will enjoy their Christmas break and be ready for 2011, which begins on January 24.
