His Excellency the President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau this morning received two new additions to Fiji’s Judicial Bar at a brief ceremony at Government House.
Sworn in were Justice of Appeal for the Court of Appeal, Presanna Nimal Wikramanayake and Resident Magistrate Mr Wagoda Pathirage Sujeewa Nishshanka.
Mr Wikramanayake in 2002 was appointed as a Senior Counsel for the State of Victoria, Australia and later admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

The newly sworn in Justice of Appeal of the Court of Appeal also has a substantial practice in Property Law, Commercial Law and Testamentary matters and has had a few articles published in the Law Institute Journal and holds a Masters of Arts from the University of Cambridge.
The second addition received this morning by His Excellency the President, Resident Magistrate Nishshanka has seven years experience in the Magistrates Courts, Districts Courts and Labour tribunals in Sri Lanka.
Resident Magistrate Nishshanka was educated at the Sri Lanka Law College.
