The Ministry of Education, Heritage and Arts wishes to remind parents and guardians that Weekly Home Study Packages for Years 1 to 13 students will be available from today - Monday 5 July, 2021.
Parents and guardians can only collect printouts from the respective schools if prior arrangements have been made with school heads and teachers.
Parents and students who are able to access it online via email, viber, zoom classes, WhatsApp, etc. should continue with this arrangement.
Printed Weekly Home Study Packages are only available for parents and guardians who are unable to access it online and those that make prior arrangements for collection. These Packages will be available on a weekly basis and parents should encourage children to attempt the accompanying activity sheets.
Teachers who do not have resources such as internet, computers, textbooks, printers, etc. may access school based resources to prepare Weekly Home Study Packages for their students. Teachers who have resources available at home should continue to work from home and disseminate materials to their student clusters.
Minister for Education, Rosy Akbar reminds all School Heads and teachers to follow the directives of the Ministry and work in line with Circular 27, 2021 to continue assisting students during the school closure.
The Circular clearly stipulates that all COVID-19 Safety Protocols must be in place during the preparation and collection of materials.

The Ministry encourages children to keep accessing supplementary learning materials available on the LearningHUB, Walesi Education Channel, Ministry’s Website and Radio Programme broadcasted on FBC Radio Fiji 1 and Radio Fiji 2.
We encourage children to continue learning from home and remain home for their own safety and well-being. We urge parents to assist and be involved in their children’s learning at all times.
