This is to advise that due to the continuous low water inflow from the Tamavua water catchments, water level at the Tamavua Reservoir is also low. As such, those receiving water from the Tamavua Reservoir will continue to experience disruptive and intermittent supply until the inflow improves and subsequently, an increase in the reservoir levels.
The affected areas are Lami, Delainavesi, Veisari and parts of Samabula. Schools and residents of these areas are being supplied water from eight trucks. In addition to the water carting, water tanks placed previously in these locations are being replenished regularly to meet the needs of those living in these areas.
