The Department of Youth office at Korobasaga House 33 Gorrie Street, Suva has shifted to Nasoqo House.

There are about 50 employees in the Suva office which has three sections, namely; central/ eastern, research training development and sports, and accounts/administration.

Both properties are owned by Mr James Ah Koy.

Youth media liaison officer Ms Vani Catanasiga said they were moving section by section to reduce disruptions to their work.

“Especially, since we are preparing for the arrival of the ship of the world where 300 youths from around the world will come and spend three days in Fiji beginning on February 3,”Ms Catanasiga said.

Their phone numbers will remain the same.

“Work will resume normally next Monday after all sections have shifted and comfortably adjusted to allocated spaces in the new building,”Ms Catanasiga said.

The ground floor will be for the central/eastern youth office, the first floor is for research training/sports, while the second floor will be for administration and accounts.
