Following Cabinet’s decision to approve Ministry of Education’s proposal for school zoning, the ministry will conduct workshops to consult education officers, principals and head teachers on the facilitation of the zoning concept according to Minister of Education, Mr Filipe Bole.
The Education Forum will also be informed of the latest initiative of the Ministry of Education.
The Primary and Secondary sections of the Ministry of Education will facilitate the workshop.
Meanwhile, a Decree to provide a legal framework to facilitate the zoning is being drafted before it is tabled to Cabinet after the consultation process is done.
