I also extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the graduates upon reaching this milestone achievement. Your dedication, hard work, and perseverance have brought you to this moment worth celebrating. You have spent countless hours refining your skills, expanding your knowledge, and overcoming challenges to reach this point. We are not only celebrating your academic and technical accomplishments but also your unwavering determination to succeed.
Ladies and Gentleman, today 411 graduates will be honoured with credentials in the following programs:
Hospitality & Tourism (HT)

Last month (March) we advocated on gender equality and empowerment of women and girls in our education system and I am happy that in this graduation there are 263 females and 148 males.

We must continue to promote education to in our families, communities and ‘vanua’ so that they become independent and have a bright future ahead. Educating women is empowering our communities, as women in most communities spearhead development to improving livelihoods at grassroot levels.

I was also the chief guest during the Women’s exhibition on 8th March at the Vodafone arena.  It was so moving to see the arena filled with talented women who have come not only to showcase their creativity but also to make money from the goods they have come to display.

This morning, you all stand on the threshold of a new chapter in your lives, remember the valuable lessons you have learned during your time at Pacific Polytech Institute. Cherish the friendships you have formed, the mentors who have guided you, and the experiences that have shaped you into the individuals you are today.

As you embark on this next phase of your journey, I urge you to never stop learning, never stop growing, and never stop striving for excellence. The world is constantly evolving, and it is up to each one of you to adapt, innovate, and make a positive impact in your chosen fields.

As graduates of Pacific Polytech Institution, you are equipped with not only the technical skills and knowledge needed to succeed but also the creativity, resilience, and passion to make a difference. Whether you choose to pursue further education, enter the workforce, or start your own ventures, remember that you have the power to shape the future and make your mark on the world.

From this day, walk tall and with pride as you carry with you the values of integrity, excellence, and service. Success is not measured by personal achievements but also by the positive impact you have on others and the communities.

Let us also take a moment to honor and appreciate the invaluable support and guidance of parents and teachers. It is important to express our gratitude to those who have played an instrumental role in the journey of our graduates - their parents and teachers.
